The event highlighted the boundless possibilities in the tech industry through knowledge-sharing and community-building. The general assembly featured renowned guest speakers: Engr. Mark Joshua P. Halili, Science Research Specialist II at DOST-PCIEERD, and Mr. Cyrus Mante, an AI/ML Engineer and President of DevCon Philippines, Manila Chapter. Both shared valuable insights into emerging technologies, further igniting attendees’ passion for engineering and innovation. The ICpEP.SE-NCR successfully held its webinar titled "RPA Made Easy: Master Workflows with Power Automate" last February 24, 2024 via Microsoft Teams, drawing a large virtual crowd of Computer Engineering students and professionals. The focus was on simplifying workflows using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) through Microsoft's Power Automate. The webinar featured John Edward Adriano, an expert in RPA and ERP Applications Management at DXC Technology. With his background in Computer Engineering and Information Systems from Asia Pacific College, Adriano has built a reputation for streamlining operations and driving cost savings through automation. Mr. Adriano discussed to the participants the practical steps of using Power Automate to handle repetitive tasks and improve efficiency. His real-world examples demonstrated how RPA can simplify even the most complex workflows, making automation accessible for all. The interactive session allowed participants to ask questions, turning it into a collaborative learning experience harnessing Power Automate to enhance productivity. The event ended with Patricia Anne P. Poserio, President of ICpEP.se-NCR, thanking Mr. Adriano for his insights. The webinar left participants with valuable knowledge on how automation can be a game changer in both academics and the workplace.

The CpEyesta 2023 held last October 21, 2023, hosted by FEU Institute of Technology, brought together Computer Engineering students and alumni from across the National Capital Region (NCR) with one clear goal—strengthening cooperation and camaraderie. Participants from 21 schools came together to network, collaborate, and learn from one another. Schools in Attendance Students and alumni from schools like National University – Manila, Asia Pacific College, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Universidad de Manila, FEU Institute of Technology, Philippine Christian University, FEU Alabang, STI College Cubao, STI College Fairview, Adamson University, Lyceum of Alabang, Rizal Technological University – Boni, Jose Rizal University, Best Link College of the Philippines, De La Salle Araneta University, National University – Fairview, STI College Muñoz, Collegio De Muntinlupa, Emilio Aguinaldo College, Technological Institute of the Philippines - Quezon City and Technological Institute of the Philippines - Manila. It was a day filled with reconnecting, building new networks, and sharing experiences across the Computer Engineering community. The event kicked off with registration, followed by a formal opening led by the ICpEP National President and President of ICpEP - NCR Chapter Dr. Roben A. Juanatas, PCpE who gave his opening remarks. The morning was lively, with raffles and two engaging talks from guest speakers, Mr. Juan Miguel Mendoza and Engr. Rafael A. Ventura, who shared their expertise, sparking discussions among participants. After lunch, the event continued with more raffles and activities, hosted by Mr. Calingasin and Mr. Sebastian. The energy stayed high throughout the day, with participants actively engaging in every part of the program. Clash of Talents A highlight of CpEyesta 2023 was the "Clash of Talents" competition. Students from different schools showcased their skills and creativity, making it a fun and friendly competition. The winners were: • 1st Place: FEU Institute of Technology - Manila • 2nd Place: Adamson University Wrapping Up the Day As the event came to a close, representatives from each school received freebies to take back and share with their schoolmates. This gesture underscored the spirit of unity and cooperation that CpEyesta aimed to build. CpEyesta 2023 was more than just an event—it was a platform for creating long-lasting connections. It successfully encouraged collaboration between students and alumni, ensuring that these relationships will continue to grow in the Computer Engineering community.

The CpElympics 2024 came to a successful close after several months of spirited competition among Computer Engineering students. Held across multiple dates and venues, the event brought together 10 schools from Metro Manila, culminating in an awarding ceremony on September 23, 2024 at the Masambong Basketball Court, Quezon City. Event Highlights The CpElympics, which began on May 3, 2024, kicked off with an opening ceremony at the Masambong Basketball Court. Teams from participating schools, including National University - Manila, Asia Pacific College, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, University of the East - Caloocan, Adamson University, Technological Institute of the Philippines - Quezon City, Philippine Christian University, RTU - Boni, Technological Institute of the Philippines - Manila, and National University - Fairview, were introduced, marking the start of the event. The first day featured the basketball and volleyball tournament, which saw early rounds of intense competition. The tournament continued with more basketball and volleyball matches on May 17, 2024, and May 31, 2024, as the teams fought to advance to the next stages. Players from various schools demonstrated skill and determination, setting the stage for the grand finals in the coming months. On June 8, 2024, Asia Pacific College hosted additional competitions, including badminton singles, badminton doubles, chess, and Type Racer. The event showcased participants' agility and strategic thinking, drawing a larger crowd and increasing the excitement around the CpElympics. Championship Rounds and Awarding Ceremony The final round of games took place on September 23, 2024, with the highly anticipated finals for basketball, volleyball held at the Masambong Basketball Court, Quezon City. Students competed for the championship titles, cheered on by a lively crowd of supporters from their respective schools. The atmosphere was charged with energy as teams fought for the top honors in their respective categories. After the thrilling finals, the event concluded with an awarding ceremony. Trophies and certificates were presented to the champions, recognizing their hard work and dedication throughout the competition. The event featured multiple competitions, including Robothon, Programming, Logic Circuit Design (Breadboarding), Quiz Bowl, and a Mobile Legends Tournament. The daylong event was an opportunity for students to exhibit their technical prowess, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork. The event kicked off with the registration of participants followed by an inspiring opening prayer and the singing of the national anthem. Dr. Roben A. Juanatas, President of ICpEP-NCR Chapter, delivered the welcome remarks, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and innovation in the field of Computer Engineering. The competitions officially began at 9:00 AM, with students divided into various venues based on their competition of choice. The competitions were intense and exciting, with participants displaying impressive technical knowledge and creative problem-solving skills. The event culminated with the much-anticipated awarding ceremony, where the winners were recognized for their exceptional efforts in each category.
